I bought this a few months ago. It works well now but I was pretty mad when I got it home and realized that, what I thought was a complete kit (just add corn), didn't come with a battery or a charger. I knew it needed the one to run the analog clock but thats all I expected when I read "battery not included". If you are going to buy this remember to add the cost of the battery and the charger when comparing to other products.

I purchased one of these before gun season and has been working fine for 3 weeks now. Clock and feeding timer are pretty easy to set but the timer for how long the motor runs is a little touchy almost had to leave on minium or it throws way too much corn but you can adjust with some patience. Worst thing was the bucket and lid had a dent in them but for the price not bad at all.

This feeder has to be the WORST feeder ever made but is TYPICAL of what consumers can expect these days. Not only did the battery compartment latch break when opening it for the first time the feeder tested good at the house and failed after two days in the field. Their customer service is just as good as their product. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from American Hunter again even if it's a coffee cup. They demonstrate why our country is failing.
