American Hunter® R-50 Pro Hanging Feeder
have a number of them some work some dont
we have 6 of these on the hunt property. We have had no problems with any of them until the squirrels and racoons took over and began spinning the broadcast wheels. We then put on the varmint buster on the feeder and ever since then the motors have been failing. We have solar panels on them all and battery charge has been no problem at all.

Worst Timer ever made
The bucket and over all set up is acceptable but the timer/feeder is a piece of garbage. I was infuriated to get to my lease 200 miles from home and find out the hard way. If I hadn't thrown the box in the burn pile, I would've tried to get my money back. Worst purchase I've ever made from Bass Pro.

This is an AWESOME feeder! Some reviewers give this a bad rating because they "thought" it was a kit. But clearly this doesn't say anything about it being a kit (including batteries and chargers?). I baught this feeder almost 3 years ago and I have not had the first problem with it. Deer and hogs are always very active where I have it placed. I will be buying more of these before this hunting season!

I bought this feeder two weeks ago. pretty easy to assemble besides dont go out in the field and expect to just put it up you will have to drill holes into the metal 5 gallon bucket to put the bottom feeder part on( can manually due it but its a PITA! if you have the extra money buy the digital feeder its a lot nicer when you are hooking it up plus it says you can adjust the time well there are only 3 choices really minimum medium and a lot so idk my choice would be the digital where you can put it right on what you want. all in all for the money a good feeder for just spot hunting. O and also will not take any rechargeble battery has to be a spring top.

6 volt lantern battery. I suggest a re-chargeable battery and a solar pane. that way battery life wont be an issue

only takes spring top batteries ( im sure you know this )...there is a spring top battery at bass pro for 15 dollars it tells you in the directions which ones it will take can order off internet. hope this helps
well not a easy question to answer but there are 3 different levels low, medium and high and you can set it in between them however you want if you choose i just put it on the very least one and it throws out enough corn for me the medium setting is a lot.
The timer has a dial on it that shows Min-Max. I set it at approximately the 10-11 o'clock position and it is usually enough for the 7 deer I have been seeing lately. When it gets closer to the hunting season I usually up the amount to help keep the deer coming in the area.
