I bought this feeder in 2008, and it has worked very well. I picked it up at the factory in Grand Prairie on a 5x8 trailer and took it to the lease.
With the feed dropping into the square pan, there is no lost protein on the ground. I have heard that deer will not eat protein on the ground, and I have had piles of it on the ground.
It works well with a protein/corn mix or just corn. Horn Corn clogged up in the feeder barrel and did not work well.
With corn and all feed going up, you need to save on feeder costs, and FeederMax will sure help.
