This isn't match grade ammunition, and its a bit dirty. However it is cleaner and more accurate than HXP 30-06 from the CMP, and is still reasonably priced. Its a great compromise between price and quality for plinking or casual target shooting.

Out of a buddies ar10 we encountered no failure to feed, no failure to eject, no failure to fire, no failed or pierced primers an grouped at 2 inches from a 16 inch barrel from 100 yards. The casings fluctuated just fine with no split or stuck ones or even sheared off rims. The .308 150 grain fmj bullets had no jacket core separations and left minimal copper deposits between the lands of the barrel. I'd say for plinking it's hard to find bettter full metal jackets in .308.
