It preforms as advertized, really quick and no threading 50 feet of rope back through loop.

Made attaching and removing the tow rope a breeze
The only negative thing is witht he hook being out infront of the tube it does catch in the water often causing more splashing in the face then attaching the rope directly to the tube
still a great item and yuo are on the lake to get wet anyway!

Our first impression was positive -- light weight and easy to attach to our tube. Our issue (which may be the tube, so I don't want to complain too loudly), is that, at certain times during use, the plastic fitting dips into the water in a way that sprays water into the face of the person riding the tube (and not in a fun way). Again, may be our our tube - YMMV.
