A fully self-contained aerated system that keeps bait fresh. Aerobait® Aerated Bait System includes insulated polypropylene bucket with a heavy-duty, battery-operated electric motor with recessed on/off switch. Check valve to prevent backwash into air pump. Requires 1 D battery. Not designed to be submersible.
Aerobaits are excellent.
I've used a 7 Qt. Aerobait for close to 20 years, I guess.
It is the best bait bucket I've ever used and worth every penny paid.
When I finally needed to replace some parts on it (after many, many hours of service), the manufacturer sent me an entire mechanical assembly that was easily replaced instead of sending the individual parts that I ordered, which would have required much more work to replace.
This assembly included several more parts than I ordered, but they didn't charge me any extra.
My fishing partner dubbed it the "African Queen" because of the way it just keeps on chuggin' along.
A few years ago I added a second 7 Qt. Aerobait to my collection of equipment. It is known as the "African Queen II".
I expect many more years of great service from them.

Cheaper in the long run
I just got the 7 quart aerated bait system about a month ago and I would recomment it to, especially crappie anglers who are tired of reaching out of the boat to get a minnow every 30 seconds.
I can get my bait the night before my trip, and be on the lake early in the morning before the bait shop opens. I've done it, and haven't lost one minnow. The 1 D cell battery seems to never run down. I ran mine for well over 24 hours straight and it still has plenty of juice. They are insulated as well, and as long as you keep the lid on they'll stay alive in 90 degree weather.
