this is the best gambrel and the last one you will ever buy!! I have 2 and buy all my hunting buddies 1 each so they dont steal mine!!!

I was given a solid gambrel a long time back and I didn't like it. Dimensionally it was poor; it bent on one of my larger deer, so I tossed it. I then made my own, but at times it was not a good fit for a small deer as it didn't fit well between the front legs. (We farm, so we use a loader tractor or 3 point boom to lift the deer by the front legs, which allows gravity to assist during cleaning) I saw one of these "Adjustable Game T-Hangers" at the local butcher and they said they work great. I proceeded to watch them lift a small fawn and later a monster buck with these gambrels and it adjusted nicely. There were even two deer hanging from one of these gambrels in the cooler...which is probably not recommended...but it does highlight its strength and durability. I just received mine for Christmas, so I haven't used it yet, but I have witnessed it in action so I am confident that I will like it.

T- Hanger is solid and a very good when it comes to different size game. Only down side is having to lift game to a minimum height to hang unlike the pully system gambrels available at a lower price.

Having used other gambrels I found this unit to be very well made (heavy construction) plus allowing one side to be removed without the other side crashing to the ground.
