Recently purchased and only used it once, but had great results on a weekend camp trip. Set it up at home first and stake was too short, so I used used a 4ft section rebar with great results at the campsite. Need leather gloves to adjust and manipulate grill once over the fire.

I had no problem in using this product. It is sturdy and is much better than the tripod grill which can become unstable especially when rotating your food.

we had to get our own after borrowing a friend's a couple of times.Easy to set up, and folds away simply. Why didn't I come up with this idea?? I bet you'd say the same thing once you've used it

How high can you adjust this grill above the ground? I am a wheelchair bound camper so height of my cooking surface is important.Answers
A:Â
It's got a 24" stick, so it's a factor of:1) How soft the ground is.
2) How much weight you will put on the grill
3) How tall is the fire you are making.
Frankly, depending on how wheelchair-bound you maybe, this may not be your cup of chowder. I in the process of determining whether or not it's mine either.
A:Â
The pole doesnt adjust. The adjustment in height comes from sliding the grill grate up or down the pole. The nice feature is that you can swivel the grate off of the fire so that your arm is not getting burned while rotating your food.A:Â
probably on the low side. I've read reviews where folks have bought their own stake.1 of 1
