The triple pawl ("dawg") design features an additional solid stainless steel dawg that is always engaged in the gear for maximum stopping power even in the unlikely event that the primary or secondary dawg fails. With today's ever changing fishing techniques pushing the small reel/big fish philosophy, Accurate DPX2 Dawg 2-Speed Reels give those anglers the peace of mind knowing that the stopping power is there. The spools and frames are machined from solid blocks of aluminum bar stock, for the strongest possible configuration. Other features include Accurate's patented TwinDrag™ system; six Class 5 ABEC stainless steel bearings; greased AccuDrag system; stainless steel gears; and boss reel bag. Made in USA.
