I bought this rod on line and had it shipped all the way to New Zealand. It arrived the day before a planned trip to the Ohau canals.
The rod is everything I had hoped, light, sensitive and strong. It handled this fish and so I'm confident it can handle pretty much anything!
Paired with a Pflueger Supreme, this is a very tidy unit and awesome value for money!
If it was any better, there would probably be a law against it!

For less than $100, I'm not sure you can find a better rod. I've used Veritas before and think that the Vendetta is very comparable (plus it doesn't have that "fish spooking" white finish to wave around!). Lightweight, strong, and with Abu Garcia stamped on it you know it's quality. I am a big fan of BPS Bionic Blade, but Vendetta may be my new moderately priced rod of choice.

I purchased the 6'9" medium light model, and it has a great feel and casts quite well: Matched with an Abu Garcia Orra S20. This combination has been great for me. The only issue I have had is that the rod is lacking a bit in backbone for large fish. Other than that, I am quite pleased.

Own a 6'6" medium heavy fast tip. once again I found the rod to be a bit to stiff but when you hook into a nice fish that stiffer rod is a big bonus. Don't overlook the Vendetta series they are truly amazing and especially good for that price tag hanging off them.
