This oil is great and I have applied it to my Pflueger when it got a little noisy and it took all the noise out. I agree that the bottle is a little bit bulky for an applicator.

The oil is great. It really seems to last. The only thing that kept this product from its 5th star is the bottle. It is a little bulky for an oil applicator.

This is a good product. It is a high quality oil that I use on all of my reels. It costs less than many other competitors and works very well.

Generally, reel oil is applied to bearings (1 drop per bearing), spool shafts and bushings. Reel grease is applied to drive gears and worm gears and maybe other parts. I suggest you read the instructions and parts schematic for your reel. Use this oil sparingly, not like I used to. Your oil will last longer and you won't gunk up your reel. If the tip on this is too big to get the oil into small spaces, try putting some in a small container and using a toothpick to dribble a drop or 2 where you want it. Good luck!Top 50 Contributor

just pop off the side cover with a small screwdriver and give her a few squirts. check to make sure the inside is clean and free of debris. q-tips are a good choice to degunk the inside. seal her back up and you're ready to go!Top 1000 Contributor

drip this oil where there are any gears, brakes, or general friction. Refer to reel owners manual if your not too sure.1 of 1
