Precision engineered, Abu Garcia Revo Premier Baitcast Reels feature ten stainless steel HPCR™ bearings plus a roller bearing for increased corrosion protection. The Premier's X2-Cräftic aluminum alloy frame also provides increased corrosion resistance. C6 carbon sideplates provide significant weight reduction without sacrificing strength and durability. A Carbon Matrix drag system provides smooth, consistent drag pressure over the entire drag range, and the D2 Gear Design means a more efficient gear system with improved gear durability. An Infinitely Variable Centrifugal Brake gives very precise brake adjustments allowing anglers to easily cast a wide variety of baits. A compact bent carbon hadle provides a more ergonomic design that is extremely lightweight. Flat EVA knobs offer greater comfort and durability. Finally, a titanium-coated line guide reduces friction and improves durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Have owned and tried them all ! Being a senior who only uses baitcast reels, I've had nearly 50 years of exposure to them all. Am talking about only those which are top of the line brands ! I was looking for a baitcaster that didn't need any of those fancy aftermarket ceramic bearings to make a baitcaster to be able to cast extreme distances, cast more smoothly and, yet, cast without backlashing, I'd just purchased this Abu-Garcia (Revo Premier) , removed it from the box, attached to my favorite 7' Signature Series rod, took it out to my favorite pond, and had found this reel to cast further than any of the 23 low profile, modern baitcasters that I own ! An order for another will be on it's way as a gift for my grandson.. April 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by THE BEST. By far the best baitcaster I have ever purchased. This is the only reel I love more than the REVO MGX. This reel is extremely light, compact, and just flat out looks cool. The drag is second to none(all 20 lbs of it!). This reel features the same Centrifugal Brake system that the MGX does which means it can sling a weightless worm(or other soft plastic) about 1000 yards into the ozone layer. Maybe that last statement was a bit far fetched but my goodness this thing casts like no other. AWESOME REEL. April 9, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Reel I just receieved this reel two days ago. I got the left-handed retrieve. This reel cast distance is compared to my daiwa zillion. It matches or even exceeds with the right adjustments. The only problem is the bait selection for this reel. It is kinda difficult to adjust to lighter baits like a weightless senko on it. Other than that, I definitely recommend this reel. September 28, 2012
