Designed with the inshore angler in mind, the Abu Garcia Revo Inshore Spinning Reel incorporates a NanoShield body for an ultra-lightweight outfit with the strength of a metal body. The braid-ready spool design stops superlines from slipping, allowing the braid to be tied directly to the spool without the use of a mono or taped backing. A one-piece gear box design allows for more precise gear alignment and smoother operation. An eight-bearing system provides smooth performance. A sealed Carbon Matrix™ drag provides ultra smooth drag performance while keeping out unwanted debris. A flat EVA knob provides greater comfort and durability. Slow Oscillation provides even line lay with all types of line. The Revo Inshore Spinning Reel features an Everlast™ bail system for improved durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by great inshore real I went fishing for redfish as soon as i got this real and it performed amazingly. the drag system is smooth as butter and handles the fish with ease. I highly recommend this spinning real in the 40 size. April 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazon Peacock Bass Reel I had a fishing trip of a lifetime planned in the Amazon fishing for large Peacock Bass. I needed a spinning reel to do the job. I always used Abu Garcia products and was very happy with them. I e-mailed them and asked them to recommend a spinning reel that would do the job. Believe it or not the reply was that they didn't have a spinning reel that would work. I didn't believe that. I reasearched their reels and determined that the Inshore Revo 40 would do the trick. It did. I had 65 braid on one spool and 50lb braid on the extra one. The second day there I caught a 16.5 lb Speckeled Peacock Bass with it. I was smooth reeling and casting was great. The peacock bass is a very tough & strong fish to land. Not to mention the underwater branches and trees that are their natural habitat. The Revo Insore did the trick. I would recomend it for Amazon fishing as well as Inshore saltwater also. Oh It looks cool too !!! December 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST SALTWATER INSHORE REEL Abu garcia is getting better with each product, i got the ins40 size reel for redfish, trout, snook and small tarpon, and wow this reel surpassed the quality of daiwa, shimano and penn reels. yes i said it. you have to buy it to understand. make sure you buy the ins40 because the 30 is very small, the reel comes very small for a 40 but it will get the job done it almost looks like a freshwater reel. the 40 is your best choice. like i said before this is the best inshore reel on the market, trust me!!!! fishing is believing.....
