Which casts farther?

Details:
Does anyone know which casts farther..the version of Avu Revo SX or the new JMorris Signature?? Same price. Also, does the extra 10 lbs of drag on the SX mean a lot?
thanks

Details:
Does this reel have clicking ajustment on the star drag, spool tension knob and magnetic brakes? also does this reel have dual braking system with centrifical and magnetic brakes and if not can you still get it really precise and good for throwning pike lures but also as small as 1/8 ounce lures??
thanks

A:
Yes it does have precise clicking adjustments, however it is my opinion that it was designed to use heavier lures than 1/8 ounce. It can be done, but the reel was designed for line too large for that small of a lure.

Yes. With the 24 pound drag, there aren't many freshwater fish you couldn't handle with this reel! Just make sure you have good line! :)

A:
Absolutely,
By going with the STX you get both a centrifugal braking system and a magnetic braking system.

The SX just has magnetic brake. A great reel but for just $30 more you get both braking systems which can be very effective in increasing casting distance and getting less backlashes, but seriously who gets backlashes on REvos!!

I dont like the new Curado, the E was better. I would get the SX, I like it even better than my E7, and Ive always been a Shimano person, so what does that tell you?

A:
it matches well with any abu rod since thats what the rods were based around. i would recommend the 6-1 ratio since it can get tiring burning spinnerbaits with big blades all day.

i have this real with a veritas and i love it, i have the 7:1 and the 6:4 SX, but i would my 6:4 for spinner baits, since i use 3blade spinners and there is plenty of action but i can still keep it at a slow pace so the lazy fish will still bite.

the reel weighs 8.89oz. it is a really nice reel, smooth casts far barely and backlashes and really not that expensive. put it on a nice rod like the Abu Garcia Veritas or spend a wee bit more and get the Duckett Micro Guide rod. both would make an excellent combo.

A:
There is a black screw you turn with your hand at the top left hand side (no screwdriver needed) unscrew as much as you can take the right side of the reel and twist up and pull off. Oil everywhere the stainless steel rod goes into also oil underneath the eye in the front and finally the handle.

unwind the silver screw on the reel. turn the side plate 1/4 turn towards you. pop off side plate. oil the bearing on the spool. I did that and wow.

A:
The silver screw on the top right side of the reel that runs all the way across to the left side is removed, then you twist the left side plate counter clockwise and it will pop off. Then remove the spool and you can get to most of the bearings you need to get to for oiling.

Your best bet would be to follow general guides on Youtube that show how to clean and maintain baitcasters. The SX is not much different than the rest of them.

On the handle side of the reel towrd the front, there is a screw. Loosen it up until it is loose. Then turn the left side plate up. It should come right off for you.

I would suggest the Winch but the revo-s or the SX are good, all have a 24pound drag on them so you have the power to drag a hog out of the heavier vegitation.

Not sure about it being the best, but it does great for me. The STX may pitch a little better due to the dual brake system.
