Rated 2 out of 5 by Thumb button and drag issues I would give this reel thumbs up, if it were not for the thumb button always breaking. Also, drag setting issues. I love the distance and smoothness with the cast and retrieval. I can cast just about any light lure that I want to. I am on the fourth thumb button and it just broke. Ordered 5 more. After several trips of hard fishing and long casting, I can count on the thumb button to break inside. You can use it this way for awhile, but eventually, the button will fall off-out. I have spent more on thumb button assemblies and shipping than the reel originally cost, but I like using this reel. If you do not mind ordering and replacing thumb buttons, then try it. If Abu Garcia can solve this problem, then I would buy another. My wife and daughter have one and they have not had this problem, but they are not continually casting, as they bait fish more. Rated 5 out of 5 Great Product I had gone fishing with my kids many times with the zebco 33. Had so many problems always having to stop and fix endless problems. I purchased this based on the price and my good experience with the AG spin reels. Took the kids out this weekend and didn't have one problem all day! Very easy to use. Thank you for a Great product. Rated 4 out of 5 by Smooth operation This is a smooth reel that offers easy casting and operation. I fish the Ohio River and deal with good size catfish from time to time. No problem. If you're on a budget, who's not, consider this reel. I bought the more fancy Garcia spincast reels and this one (276I) works just as well. Bottom line, user friendly reel that does what it is supposed to do. I may get a few more for other rods. August 18, 2011
