Rated 5 out of 5Â by Racerraja Great value for the price
I have used the stand about a dozen times since I received it. After taking some time to figure out what straps went where and how they were supposed to be installed, I found that the stand performed very well. It is very light, is extremely quiet both while climbing and while sitting. The chain straps are very easy to adjust and very secure on the tree. There is also no obstruction to shooting from the stand.
All in all a very good price for a very good climber!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Z71rancher Affordable, Quality Climber
After having my API Grand Slam and Alumi-Tech Magnum climbers stolen, I decided to give this cheaper API a try. Excellent choice. It's not as fancy as the more expensive APIs, but it is just as comfortable and roomy. Also, the High Point is MUCH lighter. I like the new design with the upper arms bending in toward the tree, feels like it grips even better than the older version, which I didn't think was possible. I have used it all season and have no complaints yet. Great choice for the hunter on a budget.

Great durability and comfortable. Have set many mornings and afternoons in this stand with no need to take a break in the middle. Much better priced than comparably designed stands weighing in this range.

How do you put the packing or backpack straps on and which one to use.Answers
A:Â
I had trouble myself. I only used the shoulder strap section. I put the shoulder straps in between the tree spikes and connected the 2 smaller straps on the 2nd bar up on the platform. I doubt this is right but it works. I wish they would have connected those when they ship it.Q:Â

How does the chain and pins work in keeping the chain from coming loose or falling out while climbing?
Answers
A:Â
The pin goes directly through the chain links which will not allow it to slip outA:Â
they have spring keeper on pins that hold them togetherA:Â
Well the chains hook to the arms of the climber with safety pins the pins won't fall out and to ease your mind if your still a little nervous once you start climbing and sit in the seat there is pressure on the pins ffrom your body weightAnswers
A:Â
I set the top right on the bottom. They do not actually slide into each otherA:Â
Yes, they fit together for packing.A:Â

You might search online to see if you can find a few different video that show someone using this style of stand. Also, the link below is a Owner's Manual for another API Stand that has instructions on climbing:http://www.apioutdoors.com/images/s...
