i had a similar product for over 10 years and used it religiously EVERY YEAR!!! then i broke the handle and still used it but just not the same. i have looked forever for a replacement and NOTHING COMPARES to the ease of use and toughness of this product. the spring loaded retractable kind are horrible. when i found this on the shelf i bought 4!!! just incase i loose 1 i have replacements. my son gets 1 and a friend suckered 1 from me. we even use these to hoist up hang on stands when putting up new sets. we have 2 cameras with bags and all other gear we can pull up with these straps....they handle quite a bit of weight. THANK YOU API, for remaking this MUST HAVE PRODUCT!!!!
