I bought this item for use on my treestand; have always used bungie cords to hold the two sections together. These straps work fanastically; no fuss. You attach them, tighten them and you're good to go. Keeps the stand from making any noise while walking through the woods. And once you get to your tree, these straps detach very quickly. An absolute super purchase. In fact, once I used them, we purchase more for my son.
