The API Outdoors® Alumni-Tech® Star Climbing Treestand's versatile design features a padded shooting rail that adjusts for gun or bowhunting. When gun hunting, position the padded shooting rail in the up position. While bowhunting, the padded shooting rail and aluminum climbing seat bar easily swing out of the way for maximum mobility. Folding footrest for added comfort. Includes climbing brackets for quick and easy climbing. A Full-Body Safety Harness with climbing belt, suspension relief strap, and DVD is included. It is a little heavy if you are looking to hike a long way, but this is no the intent for this item. It is so comfortable, I have stayed in it for 8 hours and slept in it. I cannot recommend this highly enough. October 21, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by APIOutdoorsforlife111 Very nice stand I have had this ever since Christmas of 2011 and I climbed a few trees with it but I really didn't have time to hunt since the season was almost over but I like how it has the gun rest but I can be complicated if a deer is closer or further than what it is set on and by the time you set it to the right distance the animal could be gone. I also liked the flip over foot rest I personally do not like sitting in one position for a few hours at a time so that is a plus. If you were looking into buying this stand I would advise you to do so. It's is a pretty good all around stand. July 18, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by monbuchunter Ok purchase Like the treestand, everthing but the platic peices that adjust the gun rest. they are made cheap and should have a different design. I have used mine one year and they are already broke. for a300 treestand i think they could do better than plastic peices that break in a year. i have the old style stand like this and it has metel rods to adjust, why change a good thing. now im going to have to find and buy these plastic peices and hope theve improved them so they dont break again. would give 5 stars if not for these plastic adjusters December 10, 2011

Fla and just happened to see this API on display...After a lengthy decision I decided to get the API and it has been AMAZING...I actually sat it for 9 hrs straight...Killed a nice 8 point....I love my stand August 8, 2011
