Well I just climb a tree for the first time with this stand. Iwas using a summit crush which was a good stand but I'm a bg guy 6.2 ft 275 lb and j just felt like I needed something a little bigger so I found this one and read the reviews so I ordered it. I will say after I put it together I was going to send it right back cause it is heavy. But I figured I should at least try it first so I'm in the tree right now hunting so I figured I would write my review. This stand feels great. I could sit in it all day. It has plenty of room and I feel very safe. It climbs easy but it is heavy but its worth i. I hope this review was helpful in Ur decision on this stand. I look at every stand online and I felt like I got the best one for the money.

I haven't used mine yet, but one minor piece of info about the safety harness that comes with the climber, has a weight limit of 300lbs. Where as the stand limit is 350lbs. Kinda dumb.

I use this stand and it is definitely large enough. You can even plant you front foot on the rest for a more stable and secure stance. Shooting seated ain't bad either on it.A:Â
You can stand up on the platform just fine. I am a BIG man and had no issues. Matter a fact, I take shots sitting down. Although everyone is different, I really like this stand.1 of 1
