Rated 4 out of 5Â by TravisET31m Good Climber for under $200
I purchased this stand and a Summit Viper for early season bow hunting in Georgia since there was only one API left in inventory at the Bass Pro store. The API is about $100 less and I would recommend it over the Viper since the only advantage the Viper offers is 1 less pound of weight (20 vs 21lbs) and a better lower platform foot aid used to climb the tree, but it's not worth an additional $100 to me. The API chain grips trees better than any of the cable version climbers on the market! The stand is very light, quiet while entering the woods and you can easily sit for over 5 hours comfortably. It easily climbs trees from 8-25 inches in diameter. The only negative of the stand is the feet climbing straps, they are cheap and you'll end up just using your feet to grip the steel on the bottom platform to climb the tree.

Faulty design. Used once and broke while I was in the tree. Could have been a bad situation. Have already been returned to the store.

Bought one of these as an addition to my API stand I've owned since '98. This is an easy to carry stand it is also very comfortable. I've sat for as many as 10 hours of a day in it, comfortably. I like it so much I bought a second. I hunt primarily from climbers and move stands often on a large piece of family owned property. Having three to circulate is very convenient.
I would warn anyone considering purchasing this stand that because of the way this stand takes down for carry it is not as sturdy against the trees as a lot of stands. It's kind of spongy going up and down the tree. This is not a bother to me but probably not a good stand for a beginning climber. A none folding model may feel more secure for someone just getting into climbers.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Marcodg Excellent for the Price
Purchased the stand a few weeks back and used it for deer hunting. Light weight, easy to set up, folds very flat. The instructions are a bit vague but its easy to figure out. The seat pads are very thick and comfortable. I've used my brothers grand slam climber which is much more expensive and this unit is excellent for the money. The one thing we do different is turn the seat around and face the tree, makes it much easier to climb as well as gives extra cover while hunting.
