Get everything you need for your bow to start bowfishing seriously with the Retriever Pro Bowfishing Reel Combo Kit from AMSBowfishing. This kit includes the easy-to-use, high performance Retriever Pro bowfishing reel with 130 lb. line, two AMSBowfishing arrows with Shure Shot Penetrator Arrow Points, and Safety Slide® system installed, "On the Water" bowfishing DVD, and an AMSBowfishing Wave Rest. Fast and simple, the Retriever Pro helps you collect errant shots in seconds without slowing down or affecting your shots in any way like some other bowfishing reels. With no buttons to push before the shot, you can just draw, aim, and shoot, a big feature when aiming at quick moving fish. Line is held in a bottle, instead of on a spool, for exceptional line control and zero-drag performance for longer and faster shots! Quick adjusting telescoping clamp makes adjustments for different sized hands quick and easy. A mount plate gives more clearance for protruding arrow rest. Built-in quiver holds arrow in between fishing spots! Stronger, lighter, and more resistant to corrosion than the original Retriever, the Retriever Pro is an easy to use, complete bowfishing reel designed to last as long as you fish with your bow! The AMS Wave Rest's spinning roller design provides stability for maximum arrow control while swing shooting, reducing wear on the arrow shaft and allowing for perfect center shot adjustment.

    Kit includes:
  • Retriever Pro reel with 130 lb. line
  • AMS Wave Rest
  • 2 AMSBowfishing arrows with Shure Shot Penetrator Arrow Points
  • AMD Safety Slide System installed
  • "On the Water with AMSBowfishing" DVD

Rated 5 out of 5 by nice product i have only used this product one time and loved it..knocked down and brought in a skate my first shot...works well and might get one for the lady (due to the fact she can't pull back my bow, and she wants to try) June 22, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought it for my son 12 yrs old I researched many different bow fishing set ups. I found that the AMS Bowfishing Kit had the most positive results from talking with people who have it and from research on line. I just started bowfishing and I loved my AMS set up. My buddy had the reel type set up and broke off several times and had a close call with the set up...enough said. The AMS proved to be the safest and the most efficient for second shots quickly. I bought one for my 12 year old son for Christmas. I can't wait to go out with him this spring. December 22, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sound choice Very good product. Just came back from my first chance at bowfishing. It is definitely not easy as it sounds when you read about it, but the Retriever didn't fail me. The arrows and the rest are very solid. I felt the need for a little longer line, but that's because I was shooting carp on the surface of a lake (so, longer shots). July 29, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent for attracting young archers Bought this after trying to obtain through a local one store sporting goods dealer they backordered it for approx. three weeks. Ordered through BPS Catalogue and had unit shipped to vacation spot. BPS Catalog got it right, to a tee. Installed in 30-45 minutes on to a left handed recurve. Watched video that came with the kit before shooting. My 12 year old shot approximately 80 times in two nights. Worked flawlessly. A little pricey but hey, the memories are worth every penny. Had a blast. Can't wait for my 7 year old to get interested. June 21, 2010

My Bowtech set up for hunting elk is set up with 100 grain tips. I am shooting 290 to 300 fps. Will these arrows take these speeds? I have also heard that at those speeds your arrow will tend to skip. Anybody know if that is true? Thanks
