This sealant is great for sealing screw holes, transom pads, transducer wiring, etc. It goes on in consistancy of thich tooth paste. It will bond to clean aluminum, wood, and fiberglass. It dries to a rubbery finish in about 24 hours. This isn't a caulk or RTV silicone. It's a specific marine sealant and works very well for that application. Buy just enough for your project. The left over stuff in the tube dries up within 24 hours. Wear gloves!

Good product, but from the time you open it, you have to use it within 24 hours or it will dry in the tube.
