Complete Book of Baits, Rigs & Tackle Book by Vic Dunaway
A Must For Your Tackle Box
This is one of my favorite fishing books ever, it is very small and simple, but has everything about fishing for a good price.
It talks about freshwater, saltwater, and even fly fishing. It talks about dozens of live baits. It talks about soft plastics, crankbaits, spoons, preserved baits, pretty much anything you can think of.
It talks about accessories too, such as poles, from simple 202's to Big Game Saltwater poles. Same with the reels. It shows about 12 different fishing knots, what hooks, sinkers, and line to use.
The list is endless, buy this book. It is expensive, but worth it. I read this entire book front to back, which I almost never do.
I acutally am thinking about buying 2 copies: one for my bookshelf, one for my tackle box.
Any fisherman, novice to expert should have one.

Not enough info for a begining angler. The book just gives you very brief overview of lures, techniques, and tackle. The knots section was very helpful. I need more information about lure choice, technique, and tackle in general for the beginer and this book didn't deliver in my opinion.

The Best Fish Book Money Could Buy
I would recommend this book to any fish loving person. Also to persons interested in learning the art of fishing and the uses of each tool (Rod, Reel, & Tackle).
If you are a beginner and know nothing of fishing, this book is a great buy. It helps you understand what each tackle, rod, & reel is used for and much more.
It also tells u the best baits and knots to put on hooks. And what effects they give.
This book would be a good gift to give a person interested in learning anything for fishing.
I have tried some of the techniques and it works. I'm from the Caribbean. To be more precise Trinidad & Tobago.
Most of my fishing is done on inshore fishing, beach, rocks, Jetties, mangrove etc...
I hope this helps beginners, and fish lovers interested in buying this book.
Believe me, you can't go wrong.

Had not been fishinfg for over 20 years. Decided I wanted to get back in to it and thought I would pick this book up for the heck of it. It's a great book and resource. From explanations of the various gear and tackle to the knot tying, this book is just full of useful information. Great for the beginner and good for the seasoned fisherman as well.
