This is quite possibly the most fun pistol I've ever purchased. Having the extra length on the barrel is awesome for the longer shooting I tend to do on a regular basis. I'm quite an afficionado of black powder guns and have several of them but have this Bixon Revolver out of the safe far more than any other black powder gun I own.

Single Action means that your have to pull the hammer back each time and then pull the trigger to fire?Do they make a pistol that you can pull the hammer back, pull the trigger back to fire, and then continue to pull the trigger without pulling the hammer back each time?

Yes SA means just that. Not on these black powder revolvers. At least that I have ever seen. If you want a revolver that you can just pull the trigger to fire you will need to look towards the DA (double action) revolvers. Hope this helps
