  • Piston Hammer deploys the blades without lever or cams
  • Chisel tip for maximum penetration
  • Non-barbed design blades

The instant target is reached, the Piston Hammer deploys the blades without lever or cams, which can fail or deplete the energy of impact. Chisel tip finds the path of the least resistance for maximum penetration through hide, flesh and bone. Non-barbed design blades release forward for easy removal from target.

You must have some other type of broadhead because gators do not use O-rings nor do they have rubber bands. They have free floating blades and that makes them the best

RocyMountain use to . As far as I know it only comes in 100 grain from BrassPro. Try dialing in your bow with 100 grain field points. Them pick up a package of gator 100 grain. If you shoot a deer with them I know you will be sold on them. It is worth the try

No, they only come in 100gr. I would look at a couple of fixed blade BHs that are made specific for xbows. they are the crimson talon w/turbin tip
the excalibur boltcutter, and you may also be interested in the NAP bloodrunner, it is a mix between a fixed blade and mechanical.

They will work on a turkey but I have gotten better pentration from the magnus stingers. the 2 blade fixed blade broadheads zip right through a turkey. you could also use models with the extra bleeder blades..

At the time of this writing you can only get them in 100 grain. They will work on your crossbow. Buy some 100 grain field points and sight your bow using them. Then buy the gators. I promise you that you will have a deer killing awesome set up!!!!

No, only comes in 100gr. there are two broadheads made specially for cross bow and they come in 125gr. they are the excalibur boltcutter and the crimson talon with turbin tip. I have also heard that the new NAP bloodrunner works well with a xbow.

Don't know about 125. I shoot them out of a strykeforce at 388 fps. Fly perfect, and completly passed through a 240# hog. Head was still straight, resharpened and ready to go.

The diffrence is Will Primo used to endorse the undertaker and now he endorses rage so Trophy Ridge had to change the name. I shot both and even had undertaker replacement blades that I installed on meatseekers.

i know we can not used "barbed" broad heads. The blades must fold back, but do these blades fold back enough to consider them legal?

To really get them tight, you need to use a broadhead wrench. however, be sure that if your are using one of those flat plastic wrenches that you place it up as close as possible to where the blades are attached to the ferrule.

Most users thread them on by hand, being careful not to cut themselves. You could also use a generic broadhead wrench (item number 860-236-00).
