will the guides withstand braided line? I plan on using the new suffix 832 10lb and 20lb.

They should handle braid just fine. The spinning rod has the same brand guides with the same material as the trigger rod. I use braid on my Medallion trigger rods.A:

equal length for the 6' 6" one so i would assume the same

All two section rods have equal length sections when separated in two.If the rod is six feet, then sections are three feet .if the rod is ten feet long, then the sections are five feet!A:
