I have a locator on my console and one on the bow of the boat. I have a GPS receiver and the weather unit on the console. Both locators are hooked to the GPS and weather unit with long Humminbird cables and Y connectors. Will my current wires work or will they have to be an ethernet type cable?

I have two Humminbird units, a 767 and a 797 SI. I have one navionics chip, and I wondered if I needed two to share waypoints and maps. Or, would this Interlink allow me to use only one chip, and have maps loaded and share waypoints between my two units?
