A:
Yes. This motor is fine to use with your canoe, however, be that you have either a square stern canoe for mounting, or that you purchase an optional motor mount for your boat.

I have a Sevylor rubber raft rated for a 2.5 HP Trolling motor. Does a Prowler T50/36 have 2.5 HP or less?

A:
less than 2.5 HP. My buddy has sevylor
rubber raft "fish hunter" the motor mount is kind of weak, you might get by
with the T45, It has good speed, and will move a raft rite fast! uses less amps, battery will last longer?

I used it closed to 7 hours with a wall-
mart deep cycle battery. 120 minute reserve. Had lots of power left over when I took boat out. also had 20 mph head wind that day.
