is one side of the shaft of this paddle more oval than round...I had tried a carlisle out but I know one type is round on both sides and one isn't

Answers

The magic is rounded on one side and oval on the other. Helps to orient when fishing just by feel. Both sides are comfortable, but it did take an hour or so to get used to at first.
