not on the sleeping bag ,but on piece of fabric of the same materiel as the bottom section, and that piece is sewn to the sleeping bag .

yes if they are rectangular you will be Abel to do it .you have to consider the fabric of the bag the one i am retying the revue on is not the same fabric so the bottom is not as soft as the top fabric so it is . Consider that you could not change the hood section and zip it to the bag , and you cant not put it upside down. The quality and the way it is made ( details of fabrication ) .I was very impress !
