You can certainly mount these in a truck bed. But they are mounted with screws, if you want to drill into your truck bed. They are also designed to hold your poles on a bottom surface, which would not work well mounted on a side wall.

Yes, but I would suggest that you use a wooden frame of 2"X1.0" wood to prevent drilling holes in your truck bed.A:

Seems like it would easy, but does not hold the rods up, away from the mounting surface. Your rods may get scratched by the truck bed.A:
