does this have medal seat for the reel and could it be used for shark fishingAnswers

It does not have a metal seat, but we have caught many large sharks on the 65-180 Lb class rods with Penn TRX 200 and 300 Reels. You will be amazed at the rods size Vs backbone. This rod will dominate your rod rack and you may even start sellin off the others. I use a 30-80 Lb rod with a TRX 100 for everything from bait (Cigar minnows and craokers, to snapper/Kings, and even grouper. The 65-180Lb rod has a TRX 200 and I have pulled many 150-200Lb shark along side for release. I carry no other rod or reel than these two now, the others collect dust.Answers
