Salty and squirmy—just what bass like! Big chewy bodies, loaded with salt. Bass aren't about to turn down a meal like this! Unbelievable action, and loaded with heavy salt, anise, and pork fat—now this is a largemouth's dream meal. Swimmin', pitchin', floatin', these tasty morsels can do it all!

I "Texas Rig" it with the Bass Pro Shops Vertical Drop Hooks. These are hooks with the lead weight on the shaft of the hook. I like the red shaft in 1/16oz - 2/0 size. Larger (3/0) will be too big. Rigging the Baby Craw over the weighted area can be tricky and you'll probably ruin one or two rigging it, but if done right, it works wonderfully. Tip:, Wet the hook before sliding the lure over the weighted area. These can also be paired up with a Stanley Jig as a trailer. When using a jig, you should trim the "hair/skirt" so the skirt doesn't hang past the hook. The baby craw can be a great trailer.
this is not a trout bait my friend so don't even bothering trying it this is more of a smallmouth bass bait and largemouth bass too. for trout try out some hard baits like the xts speed lure minnow 1 5/8inch and spoons or rooster tails are also a bait that can work for trout though i recommend live bait or dead cricket of a sort if those others dont produce for soft baits try using something like grubs or something but i dont recommend that
