A:
If you look on the back of the bag, annual ryegrass makes up close to 30% of the mix! Unless they've changed the mix in recent years, you're far better off to buy ryegrass and garden brassicas to plant instead of paying money for this mix.

I've planted this mix before when I received a sample pack, from the company, and it performed well under adverse conditions. The brassicas in this mix have been tested and are said to be preferred by whitetails, however, if you're in a locale where there's plenty of whitetails they're gonna eat any type of brassica most likely.

This mix does well, but research your options by looking at the mix and then comparing costs at a local farm & garden store.
