I haven't used mine yet because Turkey season has not been in. It has been very helpful heaing deer move in the woods so would think it good for Turkey as well.

They work good, but don't last long. I have their first and second model and neither lasted more then 2 years. You're better off getting a cheaper brand, works just as good.

either way, one works well; but you hear a hollow sound in your other year, if you can get two I would get two, if you are going to use them as hearing aids.

I currently use two hearing aids. I bought one, and am so pleased that I going to purchase another. With manually adjustible volume, You can adjust to desired hearing level for each ear.

The tube part of this product can rotate to fit in either ear. As far as what will work for what he needs, you will need to speak to a hearing expert for that.

Is Game ear #2 $50 better than #1. It allows you to adjust the frequency, but why is it rated 4 stars when #1 is rated 5 stars.

ratings question - different people rating the product, so you can't compare the two ratings. The people rating the #1 concentrated on its performance, the people rating the #2 concentrated on fit. You really can't compare the ratings in this situation. Frequency adjustment can really come in handy if you are a hunter that likes to use calls.

I use mine as a daily hearing aid and it seems to help a lot. There are four programs that are easily changed. They are General Use, when in crowds, Music/Theater, and use when in nature hunting etc.

Yes it could be, but keep your ears clean. You can hear really good when just used in the home or wherever. You can adjust it to hear someone talking softly across the room.
