A:
Actually thought it was domestic while assembling, but it is made in China according to the box. Feels sufficiently heavy, primarily mild steel angle and tube (not thin-wall). Parent company is Lyman Products in CT.

Also, how high & how far is it supposed to throw the clay targets?Answers
A:
It shoots them all, midi, mini, and full sized targets.You can do standard doubles but if you want to do piggyback doubles I'd remove the high-angle clip as this version has the clip going over the top of the clay.
A regulation trap target flight is 8-12 ft high 10 yards from the thrower and is out to about 50 yards per the manual. You can easily throw farther if you wish. There are 4 hight adjustment holes.
