Paint templates and colors are based on late-season, full-plumed ducks, for the most lifelike presentation possible. Every decoy is flame-treated after each paint template has been applied to ensure that each layer is baked on to withstand years of use in the harshest conditions. Each decoy comes complete with a weighted, removable ''Saw Tooth'' keel, specifically designed for lifelike movement—even the smallest water flow across the teeth on the keel will create lifelike swimming action. Drake overall length: 18.5''L x 9''W. Set includes four drakes and two hens.

Is there a spot to attach the line to deploy them without the keel? I'd like to have a few keelless deeks to add a bit more movement to the spreadin shallow water.

If you rigged some type of object that would slide in the slot in place of the keel. I bet a small fender washer would work. You could also slide your decoy line with a cord crimp on the end in the keel slot. That would hold it nicely. There isn't a factory place to attach a decoy cord without the keel.
