comes with two sets one for long hair and the one on it is for short hair. i have a long hair dog that i have been using it on i have never changed the prongs out and it has work just fine. just make sure you get the collar tight enough that it does not roll on you.A:
The prongs are a good length. My brother has this collar too and he uses it on his Aussie, who is VERY hairy. As long as the collar is on tight enough, which it shouldn't be loose at all, it will penetrate just fine. I don't know the length's exact measurement.A:
It comes with an extra pair of prongs that are longer. I have a Germen Shepard, I put the longer prongs on and have never had a problem with it not working.
