I would like to reinforce a good behavior without stimulation or the same tone I am using for trying to stop a bad behavior. She is a 2.5 yr old Brittany Spaniel mild temperament but the heart and spirit of a Britt which includes selective hearing and stubbornness.

Factory set tone. This is for training and for good behavior it is always best to stroke a shoulder of your dog. Person contact with the dog not by using the collar.

We had to cut quite a chunk off after fitting our Weim's neck, I would say it would fit a full-grown lab

Goes nuts while in a fenced back yard when a car goes by- the mail man leaves our mail by the tree out front verse placing it in the mail box on the porch
Would this collar work or do you suggest something different/stronger- we are to the point I would consider getting a small one that would fit around his "equipment" to ensure it gets his attention
He is 6 years old and he is just could not be better with our 2 boys- age 1 and 4 - but his actions when a visitor enter the house, walks down the sidwalk, or drives down the alley is driving us insane

This dog needs professional behavior training, especially with the mailman. Using a shock collar alone will not solve this problem and could make it worse or mess up the dog.

Or can you choose to just make it beep? I had a collar for my dog similar to one of these before and it had the option to shock or make a beeping sound when the button on the remote was presssed. It also had like 10 levels of stimulation.

the collar has tone, nick and constant pre programed from the factory. It can be programed for many different options that are very well spelled out in the manual.

We want to go to a deeper training mode for one of our Jack russell terrriers. We have three of them. This one occasionally picks fights with the other two. we would like something that will get her attention and stop her at the time. Or, should we buy one for a bigger dog and have more room for stimulation, if anger or fight escalates?

This should work. Stopped our newly adopted Weimeraner from attacking our Shorthair when let outside. If they don't listen the first time, there is a button that stimulates at 2 levels higher to get their attention!

A:
The prongs are a good length. My brother has this collar too and he uses it on his Aussie, who is VERY hairy. As long as the collar is on tight enough, which it shouldn't be loose at all, it will penetrate just fine. I don't know the length's exact measurement.

It comes with an extra pair of prongs that are longer. I have a Germen Shepard, I put the longer prongs on and have never had a problem with it not working.

A:
Per product manual note about hair length concerns - If your dog has a long or thick coat, you have two
options to ensure consistent contact: either trim the hair around
the Contact Points or switch to the longer Contact Points
included with your system.
