it can if you are wearing the bibs. I would suggest taking it slow so you do not start sweating which I have done a couple of times.

Yes, but you can open the front and remove the sleeves. I rarely used the outer shell, except in driving snow.

No, there is no opening for the strap. I let mine out the top of the collar which didn't bother me. The only time it would tug is if you fell and the strap was tight in which case comfort is the least of your worries

Not at all. If it rains more than a light drizzle for about 20 minutes you will get soaked.

it will keep you dry as long as you keep the outer layer on as the liner jacket is not waterproof. however the jacket will soak up water making it heavier but dont worry none of that will reach your skin

I've been in a terrential downpour for hours in this coat, no leakage. One thing though, it gets HEAVY! But if it keeps me warm & dry and is quiet, I don't care about anything else.

You need to ask the polar bear fishing with you. I wear mine in Oklahoma and do not need the whole coat. I normally take the sleeves out of the inner coat and still wear the parka over it and that is all I need here. Normally I still sweat.

Not sure what your temps are, but I have worn this coat and matching pants, with a thin RedHead Enduraskin mock longsleeve and pants in sub-zero temps (Farenheit) Kep me warm and dry. If I remember, even the knees stayed dry! Keep your face covered!

if its humid out, its pretty quiet. When its very dry, the material rubs and makes just enough noise inside 30-40 yds it would probably raise awareness.

Real quiet, especially for how much insulation there is. If its early season and not raining, where the liner, it is as quiet if not quieter than any other coat I have hunted in.

I took a deer with crossbow while wearing the coath this year. It is quiet enough for bow in the stand or walking around, in my opinion.

A:
Parka uses a shell and a liner that has the insulation. Specifications ahow 200 gram Thinsulate in the body and 150 in the sleeves. The coat is extremely warm. Early season you'll have to take off the sleeves or remove the liner, or you can purchase and use another "interchange" liner that is lighter. You won't be cold with this coat, you'll be too hot if you walk around in warmer temps.

As long as you are wearing the outer shell, you'll be fine. However, the inner jacket is not waterproof.

The coat will get heavier in the rain, but never leaked for me. The outer material is water repellant, but the soft nap will hold some water and weight. This is not a lightweight coat to start with.

It is very heavy to start, and yes it soaks into the microseude outer shell. But the Bone Dry layer is waterproof, so it is still functional, just heavy
