A:
This style of shoe is for water but you can use them for running. However, you might get sticks, pebbles or other items from the road or trail stuck in the holes and ruin the shoes.

Water Shoes are not made for running.

A:
Drainage holes only on the sides and the soles are a tad thicker and more textured than topsiders but not like hiking gear.

A:
There arent holes in the soles but he holes and mesh on the side are the same elevation as the sole so the shoe doesnt hold water. The sole on this particular shoe is alost smooth with very little texture but they seem to have great traction.

They have water holes just on the sides but drain well. They are more like a topsider.

Wow, hope you aren't still waiting on an answer to this question.
There are drainage holes in the middle of the sole out the sides that take water from inside the shoe out through a screen covered section under the insole.
Sole of the shoe is like "topsider"
