Well never owed a Shimano Stella
but Daiwa Steez is perfection and you can't improve on that ....
and it's less $$$

Ive had the chance to use both, and personally they were both amazing.. no problems from either.

But if I were to go with one, it would be the Stella. It just seems so smooth and so amazing.
