I have been using a 3/0 on the 4inch but I'm fairly new to fishing (3 months lol) and I feel I might be doing it wrong (i still manage to catch bass with this method, see pics)Would it be better to use a 1/0 on the 4inch worm and 3/0 on the 7inch? I didnt use the 1/0 because I figured if the 3/0 gets the point further back down the worm I'd get more fish that only bite the back half...but now that I think about it I may be scaring away fish with this giant hook on a small worm

4inch worm works good with a standard offset 1/0 or 2/0 worm hook. rig it Texas style.

I would use a 2/0 on the 4 inch, and a 3/0 on the 7 inch. Wide gap not extra wide gap

The 1/0 hook may be better on the small worm, as this would cause less of an interferance with the action that the worm can provide compared to the 3/0. Sticking with a 3/0 for the 7 inch worm would be a good choice.Answers

This is the only worm I use on the carolina rig its great lots of action. On the hook i would use a wide gap 5/0 or 6/0Answers

Absolutely.the 3x worms very buoyant. great for drop shot rig and carolina rig as well.
The finesse worms will float a standard off-set worm hook. Probably a 1/0 or 2/0 hook for the 4 inch and 3/0 for the 61/2 inch worm.

Yes. I have used the Manns Hard Nose snake fished weedless and floating for slop fishing. It will stay completly weedless and holds the surface well. I like to find openings in the slop and slowly work it back acroos the opening. Use a 4/0 hook at least or you will miss blow ups.Details:

If it the same brand name,and same sized worm you are using,it will de the same color.If it's A brand other than Strike King it will have A little differant color.

the best shakey head jig i have found is the Jewel Jeff Kriet Squirrel Head Jigit has a cable keeper instead of the screw style

kvd jig heads work great they still have a keeper on them but not the screw typeA:
the key is to sharpen the very tip of the screwlock. The other trick is to heat up the screwlock with a lighter for about10 seconds. That 3x worm will slide on like a greased watermelon.

I've had the same problem. Try the KVD shaky heads or find one that has a long hook for the 7 in size.A:
arkie makes a shakey head that has a clasp that you the worm up onto and it holds well. I use it for trick worms and and finesse worms.A:
Try using regular shaky heads without the screwlock and add a bit of superglue to head of the worm to keep it on the shaky head. Usually once you get it set, the worm will stay without it but I now set them up both ways, before I hit the water I rigg up a few.Details:

The material is so stretchy it will not thread onto a screwpost-type jighead. You can use it on a plain shakeyhead jighead where you just run the hook through the front-end of the worm.A:
I haven't tried this worm on a drop shot but I have rigged it up with a shaky head and yes they work very well. They also work if you texas rig them. If the bass slow down on the texas rig I will change it to a shaky head and that for some reason will get them going again. And on the same day once they slow down on the shaky head I switch back to the texas rig and they get fired up again. Like I said I don't know why but it works... Give it a try and I bet you'll put more fish in your boat!A:
Awesome worm for drop shot. Rig it wacky or nose hook it and you will go through more line and hooks than you will worms.

Shakey head ill work great, thats how i do it, As for drop shot i am not 100% but the tail lends to float up

These are called finesse because they are very versatile and can be used for any finesse style including drop shot, shakey head, top water or wacky style (through the middle). For these specific worms, they tend to work better as drop shot or shakey head.

Both but use the smaller one for drop shotting. I use the larger size for smallmouth and largemouth on a shakyhead. The worm floats and comes off the bottom. The fish cant handle the wiggling tail when you shake and hop it.Answers

I prefer these baits over all others, I wish I had these years ago. I use them all and will switch to just one now. I just hope strike king makes creature baits out of this plastic.

Nah. These are great worms and will catch bass, but the smaller slimmer profile from berkley finesse is what you want when finesse fishing. The shape of the berkley is much more attractive to bass i think to.Details:

Anywhere there is rocks or thick grass that you cannot pull something through without getting it hung up. I rig mine nose hooked or wacky and never seem to get hung up. Plus the fish love these things so even out in the deep middle of lakes I have pulled up some big boys.

well they may just not b interested try as meny baits as u can and try presenting them other ways all i can say we have all seen big bass that wont bite thats how the got that big by bing smartA:
well that is always tuff especially if it is heavilly fished or the bass can see you. the best way is too use a good worm like the yum ribbon tail in 7" and tequilla sunrise texas rigged . no joke wear camo it does tend to help . back to the bait cast were you see the bass a few feet in front of it then twitch the bait very subtly not jerking twitching try not to get your human scent on the lure either if you do that then you will have a better chance to catch that bass good luckAnswers
