I've never fish at night with these but I'm sure it could be interesting. I think you should rig it with a 5/0 weighted hook and maybe a rattle tube inserted in the back portion of the swim senko....give it a try and please, let us know if it was good.
Weightless Texas rig it if going into weeds or lily pads. Texas rig it on a 1/4 oz shaky head jig or with a 1/4 oz bullet slip sinker to keep it more evenly keeled if there arent weeds or pads around.
I have fished it weightless, with the smallest slip sinker possible, and with a weighted hook depending on wind and conditions. Works best in vegatation - slow retrieve through the grass.
Use either a 3/0 or 4/0 weighted swimbait hook. If you go weightless, use a 5/0 Gamakatsu EWG Superline hook. The 4/0 Owner Twistlock light swimbait hook was specifically designed for this bait, and it seem to work the best in my opinion. It will also help to make your bait last longer. Good luck.
It depends on what you want to do with it. If you want a slow moving bait that stays off the bottom go weight less I like texas rigs too. If you want this lure near the bottom us a carolina rig with a bullet sinker above the barrel swivel. I always make mine weedless by using offset shank worm hooks.
