It has wieght to it, i can cast it at least 25 yarads. she doesent float but under use it does come to the top. It works like a buzz bait.

No, this lure has an excellent sinking action. I've had a few bites letting it sink in fishy looking areas and lightly jerking the bait to the top, giving it the look of a frog escaping a predator.A:

It does have a small weight in the rear of the body. And the thing floats great, Every three or four cast you may have to squeeze a few squirts of water out of it but no big deal.Answers

I'm looking to add this to my repertoire, and just don't know what size hook is best for this. I read about a 5/0 or 6/0, and would just like some input. Thank you!Answers

the hook is in it and i dont know what size it is but the hook is bigA:
I prefer a 3/0 sized wide gap hook. 4/0 and higher are just a little too big for this plastic.

I used a 5/0 extra wide gap hook and it worked fine. I would also recommend some hitchhikers to screw into the nose of your frog then attache it to the hook eye. This will make your frog last longer.A:
I am using a Mustad 5/0 with the spring looking bait holder. Also don't forget the braided line. It keeps the bait up on top better and helps get the fish out of the thick weeds when they hit it

I like to rig it Texas style with a Gamakatsu 5/0 superline EWG hook. This seems to give me the best hook up and retrieve.Images for this Answer
