Like many anglers these days, I'm trying to jump aboard the swimming jig bandwagon and I wanted to know how these do on a swimming jig.Answers

not as good as you might think, on a swim jig I would use something a little longer like a paca senior, or a strike king rage tail craw, or zoom ultravibe super craw.A:
Most people prefer more action on their trailer for swimming. Your trying to imitate bait most time not craws. I prefer zoom swimming chunk.

I use these more for football and flipping jigs. For a swimming jig, my favorite trailers (same for a spinerbait trailer) are the Yum Muy twintail grub and the BPS XPS double tail grub.Images for this Answer

They say should try to match what is native to your waters, but with a blue jig I like black- blue, #13 But I have gotten much better results with green pumpkin #02 with a green or brown jig..works great.1 of 1
