Built strong and sharp to provide instant penetration, these hooks are specifically designed for Zoom’s Horny Toad baits. These heavy-duty hooks feature an ultra-sharp point, a 60-degree bend, and a screw lock on the eye. The screw lock holds the bait's head in position on the hook, which extends life and catches for the horny toad lure.

A:
yes. they are good on any soft plastic. the keel on the weighted ones act as a lift when pulled thru the water, and the non weighted ones are just a wide gap hook with a spring on the end. i like them.

They work great on any plastic lure, just twist that wire into the nose.

Twist the wire part into the nose, then put the hook through the back like a texas rig.

A:
I hook through the belly and bring hook up through the back and skin hook the back. I believe this provides you a more weedless profile as well lets the bait swim in its natural form.

I believe the 5/0 hook will be best for you. I have used both sizes and feel I get better hook ups with the 5/0 hook

i just bought the yum buzz frog and i have the ribbit frog as well i use a 4/0 owner hook for both kinds and it works perfectly. with the 4/0 hook you can burn it on the suface or swim it just beneeth the surface. bith of these methods have produced bass over 6 pounds.

A:
I've used 4/0 with the 3.5 inch ribbits and they were perfectly sized -- 5/0 would have been too big. Since the Zoom Toads are slightly longer, you might be able to use a 5/0, but 4/0s should work.
