A: 
No you need I-pilot for spot lock. Auto Pilot will go in a straight line based on compass setting. Your boat can get blown off course with Auto-pilot. With the I-pilot comes advanced auto pilot which will not allow you to be blown off course by wind. As soon as you set the direction a serious of GPS spots are recorded along the direction and your boat will travel to those spots.

Well the deploy system is different and the speeds are different. Also one comes with the north button which holds the trolling motor on a certain path. I have used both and both are great trolling motors.

I purchased the corded foot controller for my Minn Kota riptide SP. It didn't come with the rubber feet for non-carpeted boats, Does anyone know where I can obtain the rubber feet
