A:
A '1' is always smaller than a '1/0', so '1' is smallest and goes up from there.

Personally, I would use a 3/0 or 4/0 on 5" to 7" plastic and a '1' or '2' on 4".

How do you rig these hooks and not tear up the bait? What type of bait should I be using?

A:
I have found that the Yum Ribbontail worms go well with this hook due to the size of them. I use a Texas rig and bounce them off the bottom. I have caught many 2-3 pound bass on them from the shore line.

I use the Zoom flukes. Poke the eye through the nose of the body. Measure the body length on the hook and rig the body straight as possible. The body should be a straight line when done.

I use these with a 10 inch worm and rig it the same way I do with any other hook.It looks as if it would tear the bait up but it does not and they hold quite well.

depending on what brand you prefer on swimbaits i assume your talking about. well i use a bit of either water or yum fish attractant in either shad or crayfish to went the bait and the hook to make it easier to slide through the nose of the bait rigging it weedless pulling it all the way up on the hook turning the hook around and pulling ti through the body of the bait and skin hooking it on the other side and you ready to roll
