As a swim jig, probably not a good idea. An arkie head jig with a vertical eye would be better IMO. As far as a dense cover jig, it's one of the best I've ever fished. This jig excells in rock and rubble cover. It also does well in wood, but it really shines in rip rap, chunk rock, boulders, fist rock, etc...For casting jigs into deep water a football-head jig is still you're best option, but if you're looking for a finesse type jig to flip, pitch and cast in snaggy situations in less than 20' of water, this is it!
